Many companies merely mouth platitudes in respect of working with disability, we, at Radio Cars believe that the empowerment and respect of the individual, is an integral part of the service which we provide.

We take our Duty of Care very seriously because we understand the disabled individual’s needs rather better than other companies as the owner himself suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and is a wheelchair user. Our Accounts Manager, Christina, has cared for a child with difficulties, single-handedly, for over 20 years earning unmitigated respect from members of the local disabled community of which she plays her full part. Anthony, her son, is, without doubt , a credit to her and a paramount example of how empowering living with disability can be.

Our Adapted Vehicles

Radio Cars offers a number of vehicles specifically adapted for the needs of the disabled. All of our disabled accessible vehicles benefit from tail lifts enabling easy access and egress from the vehicle.

Security Straps

In addition, security straps are used to secure wheelchairs to security rails within in the vehicle to ensure that the chairs will stay in place, even in the event of an accident.
